Stories Alive Book Signing

Book signing by Randal the Reading Rat
Ashland Public Library.
May 3rd 1:00-3:00

The Stories Alive Book, publishing all authors who submitted complete stories for the last show, will be presented to the library.

Stories Alive!    What if your stories came alive?

Stories Alive is a literacy program for elementary school age children. We take children's original stories and transform their written words into a live production.

The adventure begins when the STORY MACHINE, driven by Randal the Reading Rat, arrives at your school or library. This machine stays at your school or library for two weeks...plenty of time for every child to submit at least one story! When the story machine is filled with stories, it leaves, only to return within the month to present a live show for the community.

Literacy Through Imagination

Empowering Young Writers and Increasing Literacy Through Performance

We all know that an engaging and community driven literacy program heightens children's drive and stamina for  learning.  But did you know that watching live theater also helps a child increase their literacy skills, such as building vocabulary?

This story book will be housed at The Ashland Public Library!
However, you can order one. Go to storiesalive.blog for details.

Thank you City of Ashland for your support! We are officially funded to bring you an active literacy program next year !
